We don't often have puppies.  In fact, it is typically several years between the litters of puppies we have.
It's not like we don't enjoy having puppies.  On the contrary, we believe that having puppies in the house is just about the greatest joy we can imagine!  It's also the greatest responsibility, and we take that responsibility very seriously,
The pictures to the right and below show our beautiful
Int Ch Chekia The Kingdom Promise VCX
with her wonderful litter of four boys, Matthew
Mark, Luke, and JohnJohn.  The first photo was
taken when they were only 36 hours old.  In the
second photo, they were eight days old.  The
following photos were taken at two weeks, then
three, four, five, and at six weeks with both
their momma, Joy, and  their daddy, Captain.
As you can see from the pictures, Joy is a VERY
proud mother.  You can also see that her sons have
inherited her love for the camera!  Our babies come into the world loved and wanted, and given the very best start we can possibly give them -- a start that actually begins even generations before their birth.  When they are adopted by new families, those families have been waiting patiently for a judiciously bred, lovingly raised Eskie baby who will reflect the genetic and environmental good health and conformation to the breed standard of type and temperament that they know will suit their home life perfectly.  That is the reason responsible people come to reputable breeders for well bred puppies.
.Of course, it's never easy for us to let go of any of
our babies.  It would suiit us just fine if every litter
consisted of only one puppy -- one for us to keep!
But when we do allow a puppy to be adopted,
we expect his adopted family  to become a part of
our "extended family", keeping in touch, and contacting
us regularly throughout the life of the puppy to consult
on any problems, or just to say "Hi" and let us know
how the puppy is doing -- even when the puppy is
no longer a puppy, but a young adult, a middle aged dog, and a senior canine citizen!
If you would like to be on our waiting list for an NR
Eskie puppy, you're more than welcome to contact
us. Click here for our off site puppy application
Be prepared to answer lots of questions and to prove
that you have "done your homework" and know that an
American Eskimo Dog is truly the right breed for you
and your family.  Be prepared, too, to keep in  touch,
as this is a very important part of adopting a puppy
from us.

Chekia American Eskimo Dogs
Puppies
Important to anyone considering a puppy from Chekia
is understanding our dedication to the Natural Rearing
method and protocol which includes feeding fresh raw foods; using alternative and holistic methods of health
care and parasite prevention; severely limiting vaccines in lieu of safer and more reasonable methods of disease
prevention, and a strict aversion to unnecessary
and unhealthful surgeries, applications of toxins, and
routine implantation of foreign objects (such as RFID
microchips).  Anyone who has raised multiple generations
of dogs by the NR method understands that with each
generation of Natural Rearing, the puppies become
stronger, intrinsically healthier, and naturally prone to
greater health and longevity.  Such a multi generational
NR pup is a "great find" to anyone familliar with the
protocol and it's superior health benefits.  This makes
it very frustrating, indeed, when those who are
unfamilliar, but "just want a puppy", not only don't
understand, but sometimes actually become offended
at being told that they MAY NOT have a puppy  if their
intention is to feed "pet food", vaccinate at the will
of their local vet (who has typically done NO post
graduate work in immunology and more often than not
is not even knowledgable as to how vaccines actually
work!) and schedule dangerous routine anesthetising
for such unnecessary (to an NR raised dog) things as teeth
cleaning!  While we love to have people appreciate
and inquire about the Eskie puppies we do occasionally
have available, we ask that you first understand and
respect the fact that these multi generational NR AED's
are very special indeed, and are not available to those who
have no intention of following thru on this method
for a lifetime.
August 2009
We do not have puppies available currently,
nor do we plan to have puppies within the
next few years.

We are, however making one of Joy and
Captain's boys available on a co ownership
to a well qualified Natural Rearing home only.
Chekia Beloved JohnJohn
is an excellent house dog, good with
kids and other pets, and could easily be
a top group competitive show dog for someone
interested in taking him out to the shows..
Serious inquiries are welcome.
